Writing Community Session: Stepping out of Staying Small – Promoting Yourself as a Writer with Lauren SapalaZOOM - WORLDWIDE - ONLINE
Most writers know that they must be their own best advocate when it comes to sharing their writing with the world, but most writers also get stuck at this stage due to resistance and fear. It can be hard to promote yourself when you’re struggling with imposter syndrome, or you’re a natural introvert and feel uncomfortable in the spotlight.
In this 90-minute workshop, Lauren discusses why so many writers experience such fear around stepping into the spotlight, and why we feel safer keeping ourselves small. She’ll also be teaching easy strategies that any writer can use to begin building an online following that will translate into a real-life audience, and how we can begin to get comfortable with putting our work, and ourselves, out into the world so we can make nourishing, supportive connections with others.
